Great effort, the bowlers did their job and made it comfortable for the batsmen. It started poorly both Denly and Lynn let us down, but once Heazlett steadied him and Pierson combined superbly. Shout out to Marnus too who struggled but just helped the Heat steady when in game's past they would have collapsed in a heap.

Marnus innings was a good one, have to give marnus a lot of credit for our turnaround this season. His bowling and batting have been brilliant but just his energy and enthusiasm has been great.

Heat a big chance to win this tournament, i think we win against Perth, they coming off a bad trot, and well if we get in the final, Sixers may be a better side but anything can happen on final night

I'd feel bad for Sixers if we were to beat them. Have easily been the best team in the comp. Although all I have to do is remember the fact they have Christian, abbot and dwaharhorriblemoustachess in the team.

I thought he played well tonight, I was just disappointed in his dismissal. I know the Heat had to make something happen, but he just threw his wicket away trying to squeeze two off that shot.

Yeah, I'd probably rather Bryant than Denly as well. Bryant is probably the stupidest player in the side, but if things go his way he can get Brisbane off to a really comfortable start.

Don't forget when the Heat won the BBL2 title they basically had a specialist fielder (Sabburg) in the team.

Heazlett remains one of the great mysteries of Queensland cricket, I am still firmly of the belief that playing for Australia before Queensland was a bad idea. I am not sure if he got too big too soon but it just hasn’t worked.

He’s always seems to start on fire but soon gets found out- 129 on debut for Queensland- only three 100’s in the next 38 games and not even close to playing Shield again averages 30.

Played for Australia before Queensland in OD- His average is boosted by the last two competitions but it’s still only 700 runs from 14 games for Bulls. He made a List A 100 on debut too for Australia A v South Africa.

Heat 33 matches average 16 and in and out of the side again this year.



Yet somehow if he retired today he’d have a Australian cap and a Shield final win.
