I am no expert when it comes to recruitment but if you look at the BBL sides that have had any sort of success over longer period it's been those teams that have been able to keep their players from their state teams and then just add a couple of world class overseas players (Sixers, Scorchers, Strikers).

We got players a bit all over the place in that regard, no world beaters (except for Lynn on his rare night) but you add someone like Joe Burns to our top 6, even he would make a difference. You can't tell me Whiteley is any better than Joe Burns. Sandhu with his bowling has proven hard to get away, imagine him being in our side after having Neser and Steketee with the new ball. It's a shambles.
