What do you mean he won't have that luxury? If he's general manager of football, he will have a huge influence on the entire football program, the junior parthways, recruitment, pretty much everything outside of day-to-day coaching/training and even on that, he'll probably have a big say.

Our system? What system?! The Craig Bellamy system clearly trumps anything & everything the Broncos have run with over the past decade or more.. not sure what his brief stint as origin coach has any relevance.. if anything, it shows that Craig Bellamy’s time proven methods require precisely that - time. Players need time to marinate in his structures and systems and intensity to reap the benefits. If & when he takes on a role at Brisbane, I think the seismic shifts will take at least a year or two to become evident.
So a long term deal is the only way to go with him imo.
