No comments on the deal here. Hate the way Bellamy sounds. It's like he's an Aussie that's American style language deficient.![]()

On NRL360 Badel also mentioned that Bellamy would be involved with recruitment and retention as well.
Seems like we really really really want Bellamy to take up our offer.
They’ll probably just replace the name ‘Moses Pangai’ with ‘Aaron Bellamy’ in the contract to save time...Just read that his son Aaron, who is currently a 'development assistant coach' with the Storm, will also be offered a role with us.
first a 5 year deal
now a 10 year deal
Badel will have us offering him a 15 year deal next week
Still a better contract than seiboldsNah a forty year deal is being worked out as week speak
His grand children will be offered roles within the club too
What do you mean he won't have that luxury? If he's general manager of football, he will have a huge influence on the entire football program, the junior parthways, recruitment, pretty much everything outside of day-to-day coaching/training and even on that, he'll probably have a big say.Give him a two year deal, make him prove his worth.
He's great as a head coach for the Melbourne Storm, but he's going to have a very different role and quite frankly, his time as NSW coach doesn't inspire confidence that he would be able to recognize and recruit players that fit into our system, if he even has a hand in any of that. He's been great at recruiting players that fit into the Storm system because he created it. He's not going to have that same luxury here.

Our system? What system?! The Craig Bellamy system clearly trumps anything & everything the Broncos have run with over the past decade or more.. not sure what his brief stint as origin coach has any relevance.. if anything, it shows that Craig Bellamy’s time proven methods require precisely that - time. Players need time to marinate in his structures and systems and intensity to reap the benefits. If & when he takes on a role at Brisbane, I think the seismic shifts will take at least a year or two to become evident.Give him a two year deal, make him prove his worth.

The one thing that really draws me towards Bellamy coming is the fact he can lure the right players in. But he knows how to get the best of young inexperienced players and we desperately need that.
