Ben Hunt - Appreciation Thread

It's amazing how he made breaks because of his dummy all season, and teams still fell for it..
After ten years, people still fall for Thurston dummies. The dummies are effective because the players have different string to their bow, and when they throw a dummy, it looks exactly the same as when they pass, keeping the defenders guessing...

If Wayne can implement some set plays for the broncos with there key players like, hunt, Barba, Milford, Gillett, Copley, Oates. This team will be a force. All of these tries and assists are of individual vision and pure brilliance. That Glenn try with the two hole runners was awesome we need more of that. And that angle that Oates ran through on the tigers was amazing. We need more of that stuff.

Those tries against the Sharks from about 4:08. All with Granville, all about getting him the ball as quickly as possible. Now Granville's passing isn't perfect, but he still did what a hooker is supposed to and look how much Hunt benefited from that extra time and space.

Two favs are the penrith and st george try

In today's RLW mole section - Great news!

Bronco Ben isn't going anywhere!

Broncos half Ben Hunt is set to re-sign until the end of 2017 and reject a plethora of clubs queuing up for his services.

North Queensland and Cronulla are just two of the clubs the 24-year-old has received interest from.

But Hunt wants to hold down the Brisbane No.7 position long-term - a spot that has been so closely linked with Allan Langer and rugby league royalty.

Hunt also believes he can take the next step under new coach Wayne Bennett and launch his representative career during the master coach's upcoming 3 year stint.

Indeed, more good news :)

It's so refreshing to see a bit of loyalty in the game, particularly as Hook treated Hunt pretty poorly to begin with.

Let's hope he can continue some great form for us in 2015 :takdir:

I was always confident he would stay. If he wanted to leave, he would have left last year when his contract was up for renewal as he had offers back then. Hopefully he has been richly rewarded with his new contract for showing loyalty which is what some people just would not have shown if they were in his position.

remember the source of this information people ... don't start celebrating just yet

I was never concerned about Hunt going elsewhere, he rejected other offers to stay here when he wasn't getting a proper run, in the hope of achieving that.

Now that he's 7 for the foreseeable future, why would he leave? It would make no sense given his previous contract position.

It will be interesting to see how WB can help Hunt.

If he does re-sign it's going to be on a lot more coin, which mean someone will make way for his extra cash or has to take a pay cut for 2016.

Hodges will be retiring in the near future and Barba seems on shaky ground.

Plus we could also just not sign Boyd.
