Fair enough; sorry thought it was 10 games.

That aside I'm still happy for a 9 game guy to be on a rookies to watch list.

For what it's worth, I could live with rookies being eligible if they played 10 games or less, provided it was in the past two years. That way, players like Valentine Holmes, who are usually given the last six or seven games where the season is done and dusted can qualify next year and receive the accolades they deserve.

In saying that, it would rule out Damien Cook who debuted in 2013.

i recon i had to pick a back for rookie of the year i would take ash taylor or te maire martin but if i was choosing a forward i would say kurt capewell

Its hard to see a rookie forward cracking the sharks forward pack this year (barring a lot of injuries)
They are pretty well served in the forward department
Its hard to see the rookie of the year not coming from the halves this year (either Nikorima, Taylor & Martin)
