And this should be a joke but it's not. In the game the other day he was going for a catch and dropped it (I've never seen a winger drop more attacking bombs in their career) and then on the replay I noticed, and this is no joke, he closed his eyes hahahaha. I couldn't believe it. I think he is an athletically gifted guy but he has the toughness of a grape sometimes. He's trying to improve it but it just does not come naturally to him. Not re-signing him turned out to be a huge blessing in disguise, probably more than fifita but with less financial benefit.

On sailor, was a favourite... but I hate how he calls himself a dragon these days. And he was the 1st to start the cross coding for us that fucked our next decade.

Oates is the best winger in the comp. Most underated player ever (mainly by opposition fans and origin selectors).

Had his down years but he bounced back nicely last year.

Oates - extremely underrated player who ultimately, has proven to be a quintessential club player and aa real fan favourite. His tough runs are like gold and he has become super consistent, while maintaining the freakish try scoring ability. Having a second-rower on the wing has so many advantages and never shirks his job even if likely to get smashed. Some of his tries are on all time highlight reels and that one where he came from the clouds last year was the stuff of legends. Really hope he gets to win a premiership with the Broncs before his career is done. The short arm fist pump should be trademarked. Incidentally, he is the last one left from 2015, would be wonderful for him to be able to right that wrong this year in fact.

Norman - What a scintillating debut he had at fullback, like one of the best debuts of all time and as history would go on to prove, this actually probably was his best game. Many fans were gutted when Parra poached him but as it turns out, we dodged a MASSIVE bullet. He had no drive and really, was the v1.0 of Milford. What could have been a great career ended up simply being a mediocre and entirely forgettable one.

I love Oatesy. He's a character, bleeds maroon and gold and is the best at what he does.

Corey Norman can go **** himself. Showed no heart once Locky retired. I was stoked when he left.

Oates has been a consistent player for us until our huge post Covid stoppage decline, seemed to have hit a Turning point in his life playing in Qcup and came back in 2022 better then we have ever seen in career best form, he is like having another Elite prop when coming out of our own end, and has been clinical in try scoring since.

I still find it insane how he hasn't played for Kangaroos yet, and seems to get overlooked for rep spots for inferior players, he isn't fast and doesn't have footwork but in everything else he is as good as it gets.

What an appropriate polarization. A quality bloke who bleeds loyalty and positive character on behalf of the club.....and the exact opposite.

I've heard him say he was a Bronco the year before Siebold came though, and his son was still in the Dragons system for several years after that, he has said he goes for Dragons as a second team local club thing before but he has clarified it multiple times that Broncos is his number 1.

He isn't a Tallis, and to be fair to him Dragons did look after him back then.

I don't understand how Taulagi was picked over him in Origin originally and then for the Roos last year, he beats him in every single metric other than speed.

That said Maninga hates the Broncos, even this year he thinks AJ Brimson should be picked over Walsh for origin like wtf.
