it shows alot for the older less experienced first graders to make a huge step in the game, they need the elite mentality to make up for the lack of natural ability that the young body will not let them do to grow.

I think his half background has helped him in his kick decisions, I rate the Half background Hookers in general.

Seems to have turned a corner the last 3 games. It’s taken him a while but he’s done himself proud recently and has shown he is an NRL capable hooker

My reply was directly relevant to the part of your post that I quoted, though. Your statement was that he was 'playing shithouse in every game'. My response to this assertion was simply highlighting that you don't, by your own admission, watch all the games. It's a fairly simple link to follow; admittedly I didn't think it needed explaining, but here we are.

I deliberately chose not to respond to your claims of nepotism because, quite frankly, at this point they are equal parts flimsy and tiresome. That is my prerogative. But go ahead, call me dickface and tell me again about how everyone here thinks I'm the idiot in this exchange.

I'm Happy for him ,there was a legit argument for nepotism before but he has put his head down and straight out performed his role at a high level recently.

I'm not going to hate on those that may have doubted though all of this I probably had some of it aswell but I respect those that can admit they are wrong, heck I've been proven wrong on many players before too.

I did. That's a Smoothy specialty. He did it several times in his first trial. Interesting that Billy debuted it this week.

Anyone here especially those going on about it nonstop in the off season admit you are wrong, he has been way beyond what we have paid him this season he is honestly getting to the point he could be pushing rep selection for Origin as a 14, atleast next year if he keeps at it, I would have him above Mahoney at this point, pushing Hunt as Grants rotation.

I will admit I hated him joining us to begin with and saw it as a nepotism signing which from all accounts it probably was to begin with, but he has completely justified it all infact he is easily the best value Hooker in the game for what he is being paid right now, daylight is second.

Give this man some credit, he isn't just Kevvie's son, he is Billy fucking Walters and he is making his mark as his own man.

Walters has been improving more and more as the season has gone on and he's gone up a level since last year.

I think it's easy to forget that he's got uncles that were pretty good hookers in their playing days so I imagine he's been getting tips from them and building that into his game.

Mozer is the future, but Walters has been becoming a pretty damn handy hooker to have and I think he's only going to keep getting better. Having Walters at hooker and Mozer coming off the bench, that's going to be sick.
