OPINION Bought 2000 Broncos Home Jersey, not sure on colour. Need opinion from fellow jersey collectors.

Hey Guys,

Needing some advice from the jersey heads. Recently bought an example of the 2000 Broncos jersey with the 131 Shop sponsorship online. It came in the mail today and noticed the maroon and gold seem slightly lighter than my Ergon Energy version.

It seems to have all the correct tagging, the material feels the same, the embroidered logos are in good nick and the collar/white lining is in great shape.

So I am wondering what is it I have? Is it a fake? A real one with sun damage or one that was washed too many times? Or was this a legit colour they ran with before switching to a darker maroon later.

Needing some answers.. thanks everyone!

Given the age it could be more sun damaged which is entirely possible, fakes back then were definitely never at the quality they are now where it's basically the same.

Looks legit to me - can you post a pic of the tag and the NRL thingy on the bottom left of the front of the shirt?

The washing tag seems to have been cut off.

I'm pretty sure they did go a darker / more purple maroon in the Ergon days didn't they?

Even more convinced it is a legit jersey now.

Found this picture online of a jersey in a almost similar shade of maroon. Maybe it was a shade they ran with.
