What about a 2-1 swap with the Bulldogs for Will Hopoate?

They need a hooker in McC and an 'effort-talker-whatever' in Boyd.
Hopoate is a gun, can play centre, fullback and 5/8. A class ball player and steady head in general play.
Make it a 3-1 swap, throw in Bird too as a bonus - so that our cap has enough to retain Fifita.

Are people honestly proposing swap deals for Boyd and AM9 with other clubs?

Why on Earth would other clubs take them off our hands given the money they have to be paid and the kind of year they've had with Brisbane?

Surely we used up all that good luck convincing the Warriors to take Kodi?

What if we tell the warriors they can have David Fifita as long as they also take Boyd and Macca. Imagine their surprise when this **** shows up.

Last year I suggested we sign Billy Walters. The Tigers have signed him, it is yet to be announced though. Just wait for it. I assume he will be Marshall’s long term replacement.

I haven't seen a great deal of Billy Walters, admittedly, but what I did see is that his greatest claim to fame will forever be 'son of Kevvie'. Won't be losing any sleep over not signing him I don't think.

He is a good ISC player, but he is no better than Tyson Gamble who he is more or less replacing at the Tigers after they released him back to the Phins mid season.
