There isn't a sports journalist in the business that doesn't report rumours around player contracts, and that applies to all sports, not just NRL.
It's part and parcel of the industry, whinging about it won't change a thing.

As I said earlier, take what they say with a grain of salt, realize that there is a large group of people that like to be kept up to date on player movements and rumours, this is why those blokes have jobs, because there is demand.

Nah, you didn't cop anywhere near the level of shit the likes of Badel receives.
Circumstances are inconsequential, you report something and its either right or wrong, and people will react accordingly.
Badel could use the same reasoning.

In any case, im happy for any and all news, and as you say, things can and do change, and the outcomes can differ from the reports, but i am not going to call you a scumbag or a piece of shit because you got a call wrong based on unforeseeable events, the same way i wont shit on Badel for speculating on stuff.

that's true it was one of those last minute decisions like jayden Nikorima that most thought were sure things . i think he’s been off the mark like twice not 99% of the time like most journo's . shit comment imo

I also said i was appreciative of the information he brings, just like i appreciate it when Badel gets it right some of the time.

I personally find him a fine upstanding gentleman with an oustanding work ethic and a better than average record of reporting the truth.
