or

a 38yo female prop that plays semi-professionally for (this year) 10 games counting the makeshift local competition

when it’s the latter or at least equal, that’s why they cop flak for it

I wish I watched on fox. A lot of ex footy players are terrible commentators, but far out Ruan sims on channel 9 is BY FAR THE WORST I've ever heard. I had to mute it...

Worst one ive heard i i cant recall her name...she was on 9....a biased sharks fan.....she used to play but i think she was only on for her looks....gould fittler and johns probably still pulling themselves over her.....even more biased than the 3 spuds mentioned... Ruann is painful but she was the best footballer in the sims family

I’ve seen this joke 50 times since the women’s league started, and now someone has made a thread dedicated to it I thought it would be funny to answer it as though it was to be taken literally.

The womens league is good to watch because it is doesnt feature all the wrestling and blatant rule expolitation/bending that is present in the men's game. It allows much more ball movement and adlib footy, kind of like footy in the 90s and early 00s.

As much as I am not a Boyd fan, your comment reflects just how brainwashed people are today.

By merely comparing men and women's sport as anywhere near equal is about as ridiculous as you can get.

I'll give you one example. Did you know that the women's world record for 100m has stood for over 25 years (Florence Griffith-Joyner) at 10.49 seconds.

Typically, hundreds of school boys under 16 break that mark every year - year in-year out.

And as we know, the world champion women's soccer team (which received so much fanfare in the press) was beaten by an under 15 boys team in their preparation.

Women aren't even in the ballpark (so to speak) when it comes to high-level sports performance.
