The manner in which we dropped off after the storm/eels games are what's most concerning to me. Then again, our draw was pretty favourable up until that point and we lost most top tier games, we lost all against storm/cowgirls/panthers/roosters

If we lose those games by respectable margins we're still easily in the 8, instead we roll over meekly and get exactly what we deserve.

Maybe not everyone but the top brass need to take notice of how hard and fast we crashed and burned and identify where it all went wrong. It was so sudden and it occured at some point after the Eels win in Sydney. Personally I wouldn't be shocked to find out they all went out, got on the piss and something nasty happened. A fight or messing with someone else's missus or drug use that was frowned upon.....We're talking about footballers, it could've been anything.

We managed to beat south’s twice but they were in terrible form and without Mitchell both games. If you forget those 2 games it means we have only beaten a top 8 team twice this season (the shakes and eels).
With losses to warriors and Tigers and almost losses to the knights and titans (twice) we really haven’t played that well this season. We don’t deserve to be in the 8 and if we did make then it masks a lot of our issues.

It’s a colossal failure and needs to be answered for in one way or another. There has to be an explanation for how our season collapsed soo spectacularly in the space of just a month.

At the very least Kev needs to get on Fox League with someone (probably 360) and explain what the **** has been going on.

That’s basically all she wrote. I think our win loss ratio flattered us for the most part and a lot of our wins came from gutsy performances against out of form teams.
If it weren’t for Patty, Oates, and Mam it would be a pretty forgettable season.
I’m not saying sack Kev but the coaching staff and football program need to undergo a very brutal assessment

I would add Herbie to that list. He was flying before his injury, and certainly was tracking to have a better year than Staggs.

So he can wipe the table off, talk about the positive take aways from the season and give platitudes? No thanks.
They need to send a shockwave through both the players and coaching staff. Anything less is acceptance of below average nonsense.

There will be an end of season review as normal and Ikin & dd will trot out the same crap about giving Kevvie all the resources he needs & Kevvie will again fail to take the hint and continue with his mates as assistants. We will go into the season in terrible form again, and he will be gone by rd10. We will then proceed with some nuffy caretaker for the rest of what will be another wasted season. We will then go on a ‘world wide search’ for a new coach only to inevitably land on the wrong person, again.

Selwyn and Kotoni put on a pretty good show before Origin 1. Tesi had a couple of good games when he came back from injury. Deine Mariner showed promise of what's to come. Herbie passed the ball to Ezra that one time resulting in a try. Reynolds put in a few kicks to wingers that were pretty genius.
But if I were to distill the entire year down to one good point it would be the emergence of Patty as a genuine star.
