His minutes weren't that huge anyway averaged 60mins a game this year. Which is probably only about 5mins more than your standard starting prop??
I personally don't rate James as much as some others do.
He just had a breakout year , and is just coming of age for a prop.
I think Bennett could take him to a higher level too.
I would prefer to just let our young front rowers develop than pay huge money for James.
Don't think our halves are going to be together to much longer . They will demand good money .We have guys coming through who will be better than him in the next two years and will give away a lot less penalties.
We may need a new prop but no need to throw overs at the first one and he isn't even on the market... I'd prefer Napa although I think he's probably a better lock than prop
Other than napa , who else do we chase then ?
sometimes you have to wait until someone of quality comes on the market.
if you sign someone just for the sake of signing someone, then you could very well end up with another 400k+ pillow.
while a bit more size would be handy, it is about making the right signing not just any signing.
How long do you wait though ? We struggled for feild position last year, and it needs to be rectified . Can't sit on our hands ,our we will face the same thing .
