I don't think James is amazing or anything. I think he's just a worse and much dumber version of McGuire, regardless of his size. But we're short on experienced front rowers.

He just had a breakout year , and is just coming of age for a prop.
I think Bennett could take him to a higher level too.

I agree ! But most are still 2 - 4 years away to being dominant . Maguire and blair are it atm ! Bennett ain't gonna be around forever, and i think he needs a dominant forward for our halves to flourish .

Okay let me get this straight, People on here were wanting a new Prop who can get us meters and have an impact in attack and now People are saying that we don't need a new Prop. People are saying that we have the talent and they don't want Ryan James

Just Realise we aren't the ones making decisions and we need to just sit and back and watch what our club does
I promise you that if we get Ryan James we will be a lot better off for it

sometimes you have to wait until someone of quality comes on the market.

if you sign someone just for the sake of signing someone, then you could very well end up with another 400k+ pillow.

while a bit more size would be handy, it is about making the right signing not just any signing.

If there's no one suitable for the right price then don't bother signing anyone. Half the squad is off contract end of next year need to sort out re-signings as well

How long do you wait though ? We struggled for feild position last year, and it needs to be rectified . Can't sit on our hands ,our we will face the same thing .

With the current state of contracts, I don't think that's an issue at all, how many players have been signed for multi-year deals over the last 5 years only to be pushed out after 1-2 seasons? Us with Kennedy / Barba are good examples, if they don't work out, we'll find a new home for them.
