Broncos Player Movement and Rumours 2016

Dean Ritchie from the Daily Telegraph started the rumour. It doesn't say forward either, it says a big name player is about to leave a giant Sydney club for an interstate team. So on the odd chance he isn't full of shit to me that means someone from the Roosters, Dogs, or Souths is about to sign with either Melbourne or 1 of the Queensland teams

Bah if it's Dean Ritchie it's just a stupid mindfuck to throw out there the day before Game1. The guy already proved he's probably the dumbest **** in NSW by the column he had published today, which went against everything Laurie Daley said the blues were trying to do. I for one won't be falling for this ruse of his, and neither should any Qld fan.

Not a player signing but Paul White staying on for another 3 years.

THE NRMA Insurance Broncos have secured another building block for the future with the extension of chief executive Paul White’s tenure at the club for another three years.
The club today alerted the Australian Stock Exchange that Mr White’s contract had been extended until December 31, 2019.
His current agreement was due to run out at the end of this season.
White is in his sixth year at the Broncos, and last year oversaw a record year of revenues, sponsorship, membership and game attendance.
The club mirrored that success on the field as the Broncos went all the way to the NRL Grand Final.
With White and head coach Wayne Bennett also committed to the club for the long haul, the Broncos are in a vibrant position.
"Paul is one of the most dynamic sports administrators in the country and we are delighted he has agreed to continue leading the club for another three years,” said Broncos’ chairman Dennis Watt.
"Paul's commitment to the club, coming as it does after head coach Wayne Bennett has also agreed to stay on until the end of the 2019 season, leaves the Broncos in an exceptionally strong position."
Watt said both men were exceptional leaders in the game and together had helped create an environment where players and staff were keen to excel.
The future of the club has been secured with construction about to begin on the $25 million Training, Administration and Community Facility (TACF) across the road from the club’s current headquarters just outside the Brisbane CBD.
For the first time the Broncos’ administration, community and football arms will be housed under the one roof, all during the club's 30th anniversary season.
"We believe with the plans and appointment we now have in place, the club is poised to enter a new era of all-round success,” said Watt.

Walker re-signed with Souths for two years. Was in their member mail email.

Greg "Can't catch a Steeden" Eden is gone.

Brisbane Broncos fullback Greg Eden looks set to return to the Super League with the Castleford Tigers keen to sign the English product.

According to The Mirror, Eden will return to Super League in 2017 to join the Tigers on a two-year deal.

Eden left Hull KR to join the Broncos at the end of 2014.

The winger or fullback didn't play an NRL game in 2015 but has managed four appearances this year.

Good attitude and all, but was never going to be anything more than a fill-in here.

Wish him well.

Best of luck to him. Hopefully he can take a few learnings from here and kill it in the super league.

Our season is fucking over.

In a paper here in Mackay they are saying Radrada to the Broncos in 17, Kahu possibly leaving for NZ on personal family grounds and Maranta to rugby.

Was it in the comic section? They're like the 3 least likely things to happen this off-season. Radradra will stay at Parra or chase money in Union, very unlikely Kahu leaves us after all the faith we showed him during his knee injuries, and Maranta isn't good enough to attract interest from Union.

Don't shoot the messenger, just sharing what I read. I certainly can't see the Radrada one happening, but the other two could. Personal family issues help land us Milford, I can see family issues out weighing loyalty and Wayne and White being understanding on that matter, Maranta has a good strike rate in scoring tries and despite peoples dislike for him he is safe and a reasonable attacking player, he is no Oates, more of a Winterstien level player.

Wintersteins left big toe has more attacking strike than Maranta, there's legitimately no comparison

I suppose if Parra want Hayne back and want to keep Norman a few will have to go. Would be awesome to have Semi here. I don't dare to dream yet though.

Is it in the Mercury, and what page?

No quotes from player, manager or coach

Just another nothing article

Maranta a Winterstein level player?

Seriously?

Winterstein can score tries that Maranta can only dream of.

Sorry I forgot Maranta was on the naughty list with Reed, Glenn and McCullough.
