Broncos Player Movement and Rumours 2016

I don't see how it would be a bad signing in any way, especially if we've lost Kodi. He's still young, can obviously provide plenty of impact off the bench. I dare say his value has gone down significantly over the last 12-18 months as well, we could probably get him for around about the same price as Kodi is getting from the Storm.

If he was cheap, it would be pretty good. He's been very shit lately tho

Because when you compare him to other dummy halves, he has the worst service of any of them. His biggest problem is that he doesn't know whether to run or pass it, and if he doesn't know, good luck being able to stick to a gameplan or control a game. Not to mention, Segeyaro's defence is incredibly mediocre. Penrith have always been suspect around the middle of the field and he's a leading cause of that.

Right now, the Broncos biggest problem is that they don't know whether to shit or wind their watch. They can't control games, they lose it constantly on the buzzer and Segeyaro doesn't fix any of that.

Brisbane have a better player in Kodi Nikorima. Let's back him, instead of looking to the past to fix our problems.

That "have" is going to become a "had" by the end of the season, would you rather us wait until the off-season to contemplate signing someone who can play a Utility role off the bench (By which time there will likely be no good Utility players left on the market) and cover for McCullough when injury strikes, or are you all in on the Travis Waddell sweepstakes.

Well, Green wants to stay at the Storm.

Right now, they are focusing on re-signing Cronk. It's possible Kodi may not be leaving.

If Kodi does leave, I'd assume there's more on the table than just Waddell or Segeyaro.

Brisbane have a real shot at winning the premiership this year with a NZ Test player in the utility role. Throwing that away to sign some has-been who associates himself with a bad crowd doesn't sound like a good idea in anybody's language, especially a club like the Broncos.

Oh hell yaaa ! Smokin, 1910, Tally n Daniel, what the latest on these development ?! Any chance of happening would be incredible in my opinion if can happen. Update appreciate.

The rumour was "a superstar forward from a big Sydney club will leave to head interstate", if it is Segeyaro, it virtually has to be us, the other interstate teams have no need for another hooker.

Would be a monumental signing.

Does Segeyaro really fit in that category? Superstar?

Yes please to Segs. As long as we can afford him.

I'd be keen to sign him. Can't see it happening though.

Where'd the rumour come from?

Dean Ritchie from the Daily Telegraph started the rumour. It doesn't say forward either, it says a big name player is about to leave a giant Sydney club for an interstate team. So on the odd chance he isn't full of shit to me that means someone from the Roosters, Dogs, or Souths is about to sign with either Melbourne or 1 of the Queensland teams

Damien Cook to Broncos???

Penrith aren't really a big Sydney club imo.

At the very least, Segeyaro definitely needs to get out of Sydney. I'd be concerned on the same points BP made earlier if he were to sign with us also

Inglis just keeps popping up everywhere.

To Brisbane.

Well, you can rule out the Cowboys.

There is no way they could afford anyone unless Tamou leaves. Coote had to take a pay cut so he could stay.
