I'll stick my neck out here and hope it doesnt come back to bite me, but we have absolutley no chance. He is big mates with James Graham, i'll wager he will end up at St George.

Chris Hill would be a good short term option out of the English props, but he is 29 now, a year or so older than Walmsley, so i dont think he will be moving to the NRL at this stage in his career.

Harvey Howard was 31-32 when he played a season with the Broncos.

Edit: Actually he had come from Western Suburbs Magpies not Bradford.

I'm not so sure Hill would move at this stage of his career.

I genuinely would love to be proved wrong, but i think Graham will have a bigger pull than Bennett for Walsmley.

He makes plenty of meters. From what i've seen of him, he is a pretty basic forward, which i think is something we need so its not a bad thing. Just gets the job done, no fuss, just does the hard yards when its needed.

One of the few players from the Magpies side of 1999 that can hold their head high, that side was one of the most dismal outfits I have seen. Shane Perry was also in that side, two players of that team that helped bring us two different premierships.

Yeah either of those options would be good. I wouldn't be that shocked about Curtis Scott leaving though... I mean we do need a centre, and even with Cronk leaving, the storm would surely be facing pressures to be able to retain all their young players. I highly doubt they would stand in the way if another club (us) was offering him a fair bit more money.
