I mean we do need a centre, and even with Cronk leaving, the storm would surely be facing pressures to be able to retain all their young players. They have already re-signed him. And by the time he comes off contract, Smith and Slater would be retired so they will have plenty of money freed up.

Will Smith ever retire? I could see him playing in his 40s too.
 
Thorn was still playing Rugby into 40 and Menzies was running around for ages as well.
 
It could be complete bullshit about the signing or we haven’t finished the signing. We could be stealing another player from a club that wasn’t expecting it or wanted to keep him badly.
I just want to know the truth already.
