It would make sense in the timeline of things though.

Don't we have a current NSW SOO rep turning up for training on November 1 who attracted a lot of offers from a **** load of clubs but because of Wayne Bennett chose to sign with us? He hasn't lost his pulling power or aura despite what some people choose to make up. Or did Bird just decide he liked Brisbane despite having no ties here
