Kicking myself. Really wanted to see how he went. Sounds good.Did any fellow Bronco HQ members watch Redcliffe game today? OMG if we don't sign (The Beast) Matt Lodge long term ASAP we are kidding ourselves. I don't care what he has done in the past everybody deserves a second chance (James Roberts ,Ben Barba
Dave Taylor etc etc etc) This bloke has the size mongrel skills and potential to be one of the best and if we don't sign him there will be plenty others willing to. A lot of members have been asking for a big boppa for years well in my opinion here it is. Will be interested to see what others think?

He definitely is a massive human, biggest bloke on the field in that game. His fitness looked a bit suspect but if he gets a contract I'm sure he'll be right to go come origin time!
Hasn't the Nrl rejected his contract? He definitely is a massive human, biggest bloke on the field in that game. His fitness looked a bit suspect but if he gets a contract I'm sure he'll be right to go come origin time!

Tyrone Roberts open to reunion with Wayne Bennett in 2018
OFF-contract Gold Coast Titans playmaker Tyrone Roberts has revealed he would be open to a move to play under former coach Wayne Bennett at the Broncos.
Roberts is yet to begin talks on a new Titans deal and is looking at all opportunities for his future.
One of those possibilities could be a reunion with his mentor Bennett, who brought out the best of Roberts while they were together at Newcastle.
The Broncos coach played a role in linking the 25-year-old half with the Titans at the end of 2015 and Roberts said he still used Bennett as a sounding board.
After a successful season with the Titans last year, Roberts has lost his spot in the halves and will be used at hooker and as a bench utility this year.
While fellow Titans playmaker Ash Taylor has denied any interest in going to Brisbane to replace Broncos halfback Ben Hunt from next year, Roberts says he is keeping his options open.
“I’m off-contract and if I’m not here (Titans) in the halves, I’m definitely going to look at what’s outside,” he said. returns to training
“I consider (Bennett) a mentor. He helped me through a tough time at Newcastle and knew what was best for me. If I ever need anything, he’s one phone call away.
“Anything is an option.”
The Broncos have previously confirmed they will be going to the market to look for a Hunt replacement.
Roberts said his young family was happy living on the Gold Coast and he was yet to talk to his wife, Brittany, about whether she’d be prepared to move.
He also confirmed last week that the Titans were yet to begin contract negotiations with him as they work through a list of off-contract players, including Nathan Peats, Chris McQueen and Agnatius Paasi.
Titans CEO Graham Annesley said the club hoped to begin talks with Roberts soon.
“Tyrone is an important part of our squad,” Annesley said.
“We think he’s going to have a great season. We haven’t started negotiations but he is an important part of our team.
“We’ll do what we can to keep the players we need to keep. Tyrone is an important part of our team.
“We’ve already signed a number of players and we’re working our way through at our own pace.”
