Broncos Player Movement and Rumours 2020

With Jack Bird for next year I see two options really.

1. Oates leaves, pushing Kahu back to wing and Bird centre.
2. McGuire moving back to Prop and Bird going in to lock.

The wild card would be Milford moving to 7 and Bird playing 6, but i really hope that doesn't happen.

Milford has stepped up past few weeks, kicking game has been really strong so it's good to see some improvement there... Hopefully he can keep it up. Would still like a proper 7 though and either drop Niko completely or use him as a utility.

The way I see it, we didn't really need a proper number 7 the last match and a half. The forwards absolutely killed, and you can easily get away with a Milf and Kodi behind a pack that rolls like that. We won't always be getting a roll on like that though.

I thought about that possibility recently ... may not be the worst idea, if we don't sign a replacement for Nikorima, assuming that Milford continues developing those game management skills

I think bennett and nolan has bullett proofed our teams a fair bit in regards to retentions/losses. No matter who leaves i cant see us suddenly dropping places now or amytime in the future. Dont get me wrong, i dont want to lose any of these amazing young players but our future wont be in disseray if it happens. We just re-jig our plans minorly or next one off the rank comes through.it puts us in a strong position negotiation-wise. Everyone in the squad seems to be enjoying themself too, another great negotiating weapon. This is how you get a strong SQUAD, rather then what the titans or people on here want to do. And it takes a squad to win a premiership...

Its aggressive squad management rather then the passive shit we were dished up with in the cullen and griffin years. Its what the sharks, roosters and storm do.

Even this year, Milford getting injured is the only way i see us competly losing our ability (key word is ability here. Aka potential) to do well in the finals. Every other player is replaceable, not forever and not to as high a standard but respectable replacements could be found. Roberts game breaking could be argued as irreplaceable too, but if bird makes a good comeback and staggs rises this year more then they may be enough as well.

I for one hopes jack bird wins a premiership with the broncos.

Unreal combination with fifita

His running style is almost identical to DCE's, especially at the 1 minute mark. Will probably just depend on how he develops his kicking game & decision making if he'll ever be a star, but he looks pretty decent.

He has a decent kicking game from what I've seen.

Is it Boyd or Paix that we recently re-signed?

Did you watch the kicking game? Seriously while the running was great, the kicks were better.
I'll have to check the delivery of my sarcasm. maybe I should've added some Emoji's. He looks a very complete player at that level.:aaaaa::applaudit::ARMS1:

So would it be right to say that Tanah Boyd is the most ready young half we have out of him, Corey Paix and Thomas Reardon?

Is there anyone else? Does Troy Dargan even enter into calculations?

There was an article about Paix ages ago, saying he would be ready in 2020 and was the plan for the future

Badel saying Rabbitohs can't afford Sua, will be staying.
