Can't help but think this is Bennett leaking rumours to the press to destabilize the Broncs before tomorrow nights clash. Will be interesting to see if the Roberts to Souths story has as much legs next week as it does this week.

If he really wants to go we might as well let him as he won't be much use to us but under NO circumstances should we be paying ANY of his salary. Souffs must pay full freight for him which will give us some cap space to look around and see what is available.

I feel like Roberts was underutilized under Bennett at the Broncos. I don't know if Bennett's gameplan deliberately favoured the left side or if it was just the make up of the team, particularly the playmakers who seemed more comfortable passing from right to left.

I really hope we can keep Roberts though. I want to see what sort of attacking plays Seibold can produce for Roberts, especially with Dearden now given the halfback position. If he can stay injury free, I see no reason why he cannot be the best centre in the game.

I agree. Speaking of the short flat pass, we set up such that the passer and receiver are too close to each other and then it often gets thrown so hard that there is no way anyone can catch it. I'd rather it go across the face at pace to the centre or winger as soon as the opposition edge defenders commit to coming in.
