I've just seen that on twitter. It is a very typical attitude of the club. They seem to expect players to want to play at Brisbane rather than actively trying to make our team better by targeting players.

Well didn't some pundits post Kasiano "hates" playing with Barba? So .... why not the Broncos? (The stable is obsessed with rumours and desperate for a star somebody - actually for good reason which makes us sitting ducks.)

Kasiano isn't what we need but that said I would take him if he was keen on a move here. You can never have too many props.

It makes sense though. They don't want to break the bank on an average player. It seems like they threw it out there that they were in the market for a star playmaker and are hoping one falls on their lap.

The Broncos may also need to replace back-up half Ben Hunt, who admitted the chance to start at halfback could lure him away from the club that put him on scholarship as a 13-year-old.

Hunt was the 2008 Toyota Cup player of the year when the Broncos made the competition's grand final with Anthony Griffin as coach.

Hunt, 23, said being stuck behind Peter Wallace and Scott Prince could force him out.

"I'm interested to play footy anywhere really," Hunt said of 2014.

"If I felt there was somewhere for me to go, an opportunity for me to play in the halves, then I would really enjoy that. I want to stay at the club but there's some good players here and a lot of boys in front of me."

Yeah, Wallace and Prince with no replacements for another year. No one really coming through, not looking to sign anyone... we'll probably see Wallace and Gillett in the halves in 2015. I seriously have no idea what they are thinking.
