Waddell would have no bearing on signing srama if they wanted to. Why do people keep acting like we have signed Waddell on marquee money and he is first choice off the bench?

Opacic was one of my first thoughts, but he's full in the face while the other has defined features.

He doesn't match up to any of the other NYC players I considered - Arrow etc.

Trent Merrin was so bemused by rumours he was about to join the Broncos that he contacted his agent asking if he knew the source of the information. It certainly appears to be new to Merrin's agent, Wayne Beavis. There is a lot of big money being thrown around for Merrin – but it is not coming from Brisbane. Wayne Bennett is well known for not paying top dollar for players – his reputation as a coach usually means players are offered less as the chance to play under him is seen as a lure.

I think the storm were interested in him in the start of this year.....wouldn't be a bad pick up, however I don't see the point as I would rather give Parcell a shot in the top 25.

Don't see the point in signing srama. IMHO he would be a sideways step as best case scenario, most like backwards. If people think he would be an upgrade on Macca I think you will find you would be sadly mistaken.

Would be interesting though because it might give some Macca haters some perspective

He'd be an upgrade on Waddell... but then again, so would my grandma.

Even if he doesn't live up to his potential (which is higher than Macca's IMO), it's still better depth than what we have.
