they can't ... but he could have been release and signed before june 30 ...
 
If Sharks offer to hunt is 650k then we should be fine. I have no concerns offering him 550k in today's world. 100k more shouldn't be too big a risk.
 
I had a dream that Hunt signed with Cronulla. This damn thread!

My mistake
I assumed the majority of this lot was brought in by the previous regime as half were 14 in 2003 and a couple in 2004 which is before the 2006 season elite player program for 14 year olds which as you say was established at the end of 2005

After looking at your list a bit closer it reveals that between 2005 and 2008 the 14 year olds that we chose amounted to not much.
Probably Copely, Beale, Norman, Gillett & Maranta. Not a great strike rate
But from 2008 on the elite players selected seem to be ofhigher quality in greater numbers which pleases me no end

Not sure what's happening, as nothing has officially come out, but he is no longer in the Player Profiles section if the website....
