Whatever Bennett does, we got to trust that it's for the best. He still has it in him to turn this club around.

And of course the issue with doing that this time around is Bennett is expected to win Premierships so it makes it even tougher. I don't think him coming back is strictly rebuilding.

No it's not. Losing home games and losing close games are two of the main reasons for the change of coach. They want it fixed, fix it and you're looking at fourth not 9th.

Bennett's not coming here to rebuild the club, he's here to turn this promising young squad into consistent match winners and win a premiership within 3 years. One positive that Griffin will leave behind is a strong squad with a lot of depth.

Exactly. I heard Watt on the radio last week(?) talking about the main reasons they pulled the trigger and those are the reasons he listed. Plus the games where we've been run down from behind.

I'd be very happy with those changes, unless Hoffman has a lobotomy and decides he's happy to play wing. He deadset creates our attack and then stiffles it all in one movement... Definitely talented enough with line breaks and heart in ball returns but pass the fucking ball!

Whenever Hoffman had the ball and had a chance to set up a try, I was like those 2 commentators in the movie Mean Machine.

"Pass it, pass it, pass it, PASS THE FUCKING BALL!"

Bennett has been given the green light to put a broom through the whole club and set things up as he sees fit, BUT, the condition is that there are 4 staff members who MUST stay. Corvo is one, Nolan another.

Sounds perfect to me

Hickmans was the performance director in 2008, he took over Benton. He was on football staff for two years under Benton before he got the role.

Broncos tried hard to keep him in 2008 but he followed Bennett to the Dragons.

Corvo and Hickmans do different roles. Paulo and Hooper who came on board this year will also be looking to keep their roles.

Parker's weight and shape hasn't changed at all because his role didn't change, just his number.

He's not playing differently by much, but he's not a Prop. He should be playing beside 2 Props, not be one himself.

As for his weight, I have to disagree. He's obviously playing heavier for mine.

Maybe, I just googled for 2014 pics. Unless there's something wrong with my eyes, his chest and belly are bigger this year than previous years.

Those photos don't prove shit. Different angles and different colours and one is from 2012 and one is from 2013. FFS what a joke.

Parker's weight is a complete non-issue.. his issue is giving away multiple stupid penalties and trying to force too many off-loads resulting in errors.

If he can take those two things out of his game, he's easily the best front rower in the game at the moment (imo)

You guys can disagree all you like, he's noticeably heavier for mine and could shed a few kilos.

I don't understand how our players still aren't expecting Parker to offload the ball. There should be one player hovering around the easiest/most common area for Parker to slip the ball out at all times. It should be Hoffman. Keep him away from backline movements too.

Hoffman is a reliable enough fullback but definitely not one of the best and is a liability in the spine. I would still keep him in the team but I would have him on the wing which is his best position.

Maybe Barba should move in to play hooker so McCullough doesn't have to play 80, because he isn't good enough current to play 80.

I cant remember what game it was, but it was recently, you could hear the opposition yelling 'Offload, Offload', through the refs audio and he'd still manage to get the big right duke free and offload the ball.

They are expecting it, they just can't stop it.

Parkers offload is easier to stop when he's playing prop. More numbers in tackles makes it harder for him to get his hands free. That's Griffin taking away from our attack by playing him out of position.
