Doubtful ...

Firstly, I believe he still has criminal proceedings ongoing.

Secondly, it looks likely that we will sign Boyd, so there won't be any room for him.

Sunday Mail today quoted his subsidised deal at circa 80k. Even taken with a pinch of salt, that's incredible value. Dare say he's earned himself a pay rise!

TBH I don't want Vidot to drop too much weight. There were times on Friday where he was walking along, literally carrying 3 & 4 tacklers, with a calm look on his face as if to say "pile on boys, I'm still going to keep walking". Absolute machine.

I don't hold much hope that Broncos can re-sign McGuire. He wants to go wherever Hook is.

It looks like the only chance Broncos have of re-signing McGuire is if Hook doesn't get another coaching gig.

It's one thing to be a huge machine and drag defenders around like rag dolls...but at the end of the day, as a winger, he needs to be quick and agile enough to finish off backline moves...or contest the crossfield kicks.

I think Vidot could (and wants) to play a little lighter so he can improve his agility and speed.

He'll still be a unit, just a more agile one.

Really? I know he was pretty forthright in his support initially, but I think we'll keep him.

Firstly, because I don't think Hook is going to get a head coaching role, and I can't see him following him to Q Cup or the Raiders (if rumours Sticky wants him are true).

Secondly, he may have loyalty to Griffin, but think about the bonds he shares with the rest of the boys. Surely that holds equal, if not more weight?

Thirdly, if he stays, it'll be good for his career long term. Chance to be a cornerstone of the next dynasty, and enhanced prospect of rep honours.

Between points two and three, I'm quietly confident we'll come to terms. If he's prepared to stick to his guns and follow Hook into the wilderness, good luck, no hard feelings, but he's crazy.

The difference being, Barba was never actually charged and the allegations against him were just that; allegations. Auva'a was actually charged and plead guilty, so it's a bit different.

Not yet but it can become that. If they find that a certain amount that should have been on the cap hasn't been and that amount is then applied to the cap you can be over if you don't have the space.

He has also drawn a heap of penalties lately with the opposition putting the extra efforts in to try and get over the top of him.
