In all honesty, we should take the deal if they pay his contract.

Grant his release. If not he will probably just go through the motions until next year knowing that he will be at the Saints if he is not badly injured.
Not sure on what you base this conclusion. Unless he has signed a 22 contract he will be playing for a contract and that would make his situation similar to Milford's. I think we need him.Grant his release. If not he will probably just go through the motions until next year knowing that he will be at the Saints if he is not badly injured.
Maccas contract would go a long way to obtaining Smith. Are we standing our ground waiting to hear the outcome of the Smith circus ? Apparently we have 1 more position left and titans would have to let someone go , so could be something to it
Tough call for Kevvie. If he thinks Macca can play for 50 minutes the way he does for the first ten, he should be captain. Otherwise, let him go. Off the field, he's everything we want. But if he's due for another season of what we saw in his last few here, we can't afford more of that with inexperienced halves. If some other team can find a home for him where he's valued for what he can offer, then let him go. He's earned the goodwill of the club for long service.Grant his release. was thinking more cam Smith, not keen on the whole player swap for Brandon. May aswell wait for him next year if he doesn't head to the Titans. So you reckon: Macca to St George, Don to Broncos, B.Smith to Storm and Norman to Broncos as well? This is the kind of trash that could happen.

This isn't the positivity thread. Maybe he has done a unofficial deal with the Saints. They tell him don't get injured and we will sign you in 2022.Macca is more professional than that. besides no player just goes through the motions, when looking to convince potential suitors to offer them a contract

Yeah if we don't extend his contract he will sign with them for 2022.Not sure on what you base this conclusion. Unless he has signed a 22 contract he will be playing for a contract and that would make his situation similar to Milford's. I think we need him.
Yeah if we don't extend his contract he will sign with them for 2022.
That would require Macca to 'do it on trust'. Nope, would not be likely given Macca's public declaration about certainty. Totally at odds. The Broncos, in my opinion are saying we won't commit to an extension or discussion on an extension until we've seen how you come back from injury. This isn't the positivity thread. Yep I pretty much agree with that.Tough call for Kevvie. If he thinks Macca can play for 50 minutes the way he does for the first ten, he should be captain. Otherwise, let him go.
