Than that's pointless, if we're waiting it may aswell be Grant .without a player swap we wouldn't get Brandon until 2023

If Hook told him don't worries buddy just look after your body for a year we don't care how you play.not if he phones it in ... because there won't be a contract there for him to sign
All I'm saying is it is a possibility and if we have any chance to offload him I think we should take it. I don't hate him but we should have let him go last contract.
People are full of contradictions. That would require Macca to 'do it on trust'. Nope, would not be likely given Macca's public declaration about certainty. Totally at odds.
We might have a secret plan for a last minute signing.why? where's the benefit to us if we don't get a player because of it? keeping him and playing him in ISC all year (in case we need him) then allowing him to walk at seasons end is still a far far better option than allowing him to walk now and getting nothing in return.
the extra cap space freed up by granting Macca a release now does nothing for us if the money just sits in the bank

However, if it's out of Luke and McCullough he can stay but he did ask for a release from his contract if we won't extend his current one so if we don't extend it we should let him go. We owe him that.
What do we owe him exactly? He was no longer first choice so arranged for a gig in Newcastle which we released him to when it would have been in our best interest to keep him as depth. He then got injured and picked up his option and now he wants to go again. We might have a secret plan for a last minute signing.

He has given the Broncos some good years.......What do we owe him exactly? I think we would have enough cash left in the bank with macca gone for Smith, C Smith. Titans have no chance with their cap by my calcs, unless they somehow pay stupid unders by 400k.
