On a related note, if Smith doesn't sign (which he won't), any idea what the club is doing with Macca's money?

Imo you give Coates, Dearden, and Staggs an extra 50-100k each this year if they agree to terms for their next contracts (assuming the new contracts are reasonable). On a related note, if Smith doesn't sign (which he won't), any idea what the club is doing with Macca's money?

Paul White is Homer and Snake is Isaac Moses.
I think you can. We could probably pay off the contributions we are making to Dragons and Wests for Bird and Offa as well, so we don't have to sacrifice as much of our salary next year (not sure how long we have to cover them both for).hopefully get ahead on a few contracts free up more for next year?if you can still do that

Not at the time.Corey should have played way more origins, instead they went with Harrison for some reason. Was mind boggling.
That's fair enough but Parker was out performing him for a long time at club level. Harrison getting the jersey over him for being solid in origin while the Future Immortals kept winning games was a bit stiff (from Parkers pov). Not at the time.
They needed somebody to mind JT, so they re-positioned Thaiday and brought in Harrison to partner JT. The Gold Coast were one of the form teams of the competition at the time, while Parker had missed the majority of the season up to that point. Queensland would go onto put a record on NSW and Harrison never gave the selectors any reason to drop him.

Ash Harrison was a great played for QLD. He wasn't a bash and barge forward, but he was a smart player, good in defence, had a good pass on him and ran good lines. I haven't looked into it much, but Inglis's impact in Origin dropped around the time Harrison stopped getting picked.
Was he tackling our boys as well, that's 5.7 tackles a minute. He averaged 454 tackles a game in 2020?
No wonder the bloke was tired. That’s more than some blokes make in a season.
The old ‘tackle anything that moves’ instruction from the coach! Was he tackling our boys as well, that's 5.7 tackles a minute.
So that's why our defensive line never moved - the geniuses defending would be absolutely confused. The old ‘tackle anything that moves’ instruction from the coach!
We didn’t have much possessionWas he tackling our boys as well, that's 5.7 tackles a minute.
