In this case IMO it's different for us. Dearden has come through our system so hopefully he wants to play for us, also there are some green shoots starting to appear at the Broncs. It's just up to us to navigate our next few years.
With the new CEO and possibly Wayne coming back things are at least looking hopeful

Oh, I agree. I was just chasing the actual quote. I think it's foolish not to at least have him training around the squad, see what he can do and how he interacts with the players

We keep Teo around who isn't performing. And we have Hunt who has played 120mins of really good footy in ISC. Shithouse from Kevvie.

I can only assume Kev would rather wait until round 11 and use that new loop hole the NRL introduced this year, rather than using the final top 30 spot on him.

Which is a waste of 6 weeks. We won't be playing finals footy. Getting someone like Khunt into the system for the rest of the year is going to be nothing but a positive, and I'm pretty sure we have 2 spare spots.

100% it’s stupid to not sign K Hunt. He would do it for pennys and he’s not going to do a worse job at centre, the halves or on the bench than Croft/Dearden/Kenner/Arthur’s/Copley so why the **** not.

I still think next year we are better off going Staggs and Adam Reynolds in the halves, and then if possible make a play for Sam Walker in a couple years.

Benji said it’s BS and he’s fine on nrl 360. If we want Staggs at 6, we need a half who can kick and Reynolds is one of the best in the comp at that. Dearden doesn’t have a good boot on him.

Him, or his manager? I must admit I follow the fella on instagram and my lord does he rate himself. Almost like no one has shown him all of his missed tackles...

I just feel this kid could really fucking kill it if he humbled himself a bit. At least from what I can tell Fifita didn’t try and go out of his way to flog his price up, Titans where just irresponsible.
