In this case IMO it's different for us. Dearden has come through our system so hopefully he wants to play for us, also there are some green shoots starting to appear at the Broncs. It's just up to us to navigate our next few years.
With the new CEO and possibly Wayne coming back things are at least looking hopeful

Oh, I agree. I was just chasing the actual quote. I think it's foolish not to at least have him training around the squad, see what he can do and how he interacts with the players

We keep Teo around who isn't performing. And we have Hunt who has played 120mins of really good footy in ISC. Shithouse from Kevvie.

Which is a waste of 6 weeks. We won't be playing finals footy. Getting someone like Khunt into the system for the rest of the year is going to be nothing but a positive, and I'm pretty sure we have 2 spare spots.
 
Why is it always “Player X” will re-sign in the next few weeks... Why do they need to take so long to re-sign? Why not just sign announce it and get it done..
 
100% it’s stupid to not sign K Hunt. He would do it for pennys and he’s not going to do a worse job at centre, the halves or on the bench than Croft/Dearden/Kenner/Arthur’s/Copley so why the **** not.
 
with everything going on with souths and Reynolds he seems very gettable, would anyone be apposed? if the rumours are true and he does have a bung neck he does a bloody good job of playing with it and hiding it

He hasnt been wrong about Staggs wanting out and doing a Fifita and shopping himself around, Kotoni just hasnt had the interest for the kind of money he thought he would get.

Benji said it’s BS and he’s fine on nrl 360. If we want Staggs at 6, we need a half who can kick and Reynolds is one of the best in the comp at that. Dearden doesn’t have a good boot on him.

As it stands, i think we kind of got into a bidding war against nobody really. We will be paying him more than he was offered elsewhere. I do reckon he saw what happened with Fifita and thought it would go the same way for him.

Him, or his manager? I must admit I follow the fella on instagram and my lord does he rate himself. Almost like no one has shown him all of his missed tackles...

I just feel this kid could really ****ing kill it if he humbled himself a bit. At least from what I can tell Fifita didn’t try and go out of his way to flog his price up, Titans where just irresponsible.
