Dearden is actually a decent defender but our defensive structures are just really poor and we work as individuals making defensive decisions rather than working as a unit.

Our right side tends to show these deficiencies because this is where the less experienced players are defending and are not familiar with how to defend the attacking shapes first grade squads throw at them.

Our left side is a little better because i think glenn, farnsworth and mead have a bit more experience and communicate slightly better.

Different systems but Walker is better. Even in a system as bad as ours if nothing else Dearden could try and take control, but he’s too passive.

Exactly this. Dearden doesn’t step up. Walker has been thrown in to a team that’s without their starting 6, 7 and 9 and is doing great!

And let's wait to see if Fifita can do what he did to a very ordinary Knights side to a club like the Storm or Roosters, before we declare we should have made Fifita the highest paid player the game has ever seen (meaning we'd likely never be able to afford to upgrade our spine during the term of the contract)

I know what you meant, I’m not saying Dearden is better than Walker or ever has been better, just that Dearden’s development has suffered coming into an inexperienced & losing side. He’s a better player than what he has shown.

Morris and tupou should get credit for his first 2 , Townsend let 3 in and when Tedesco digs into the line he takes pressure off. Not saying that the kid can't play because he obviously can but seriously, he has it on a platter compared to poor Dearden.

When you have Q-Cup in your backyard with as many feeders around the place, that's going to be normal.

I'd love to know who they are, because I honestly think they're fucking useless pricks.
