They let him go - not sure he's a fan of jobs for the boys when he lost his? I thought he was on a lifetime deal too, seemed harsh at the time.
TBF, no one could have predicted the pandemic occuring

Letting JYY go was a covid thing. You can't really put that on the club. They let him go - not sure he's a fan of jobs for the boys when he lost his? I thought he was on a lifetime deal too, seemed harsh at the time.
If the Broncos do sign Reynolds, it'll be interesting to see how he'll go from Cook/Walker/Mitchell to Turpin/Staggs (or Walters or whoever its going to be)/Isaako.

Foordy thoughts?
I think the Broncos were looking at playing Walsh in 12 months anyway...or closer to 10 months I guess, wasn't the plan to have him start next year? He wouldn't have been on an increased salary until then anyway.alot of the things we've done have been right.
- Dearden - isn't the player you can build a club around at least not yet
- Fifita - brilliant decision not to match the $1.2 million offer for him. the Titans will never win a premiership until they fix their spine ... and now will have a much harder time doing that.
- Walker - **** up
- Walsh - I don't mind allowing him to leave. he showed tonight that while he has potential, he is 12-24 months away from being a quality NRL player. matching the 500k Warriors contract would have been foolish at best. I have no problem making people earn their contracts (especially a player that hasn't even played reserve grade footy). more than half our side has gotten their contracts based on potential rather than performance.
I think his preference was to stay. The only negative to this Dearden thing is that he didn’t want to be here... whilst I’m glad the wanker left cause he’s shit it really shows how far the club has fallen considering he wasn’t really get much money at the cows
That's what they say when they want more money from someone elseI think his preference was to stay.
Walsh has shown more attacking ability in the 5 minute Warriors Storm highlight than Isaakos entire fullback career.alot of the things we've done have been right.

Both of these articles say he was in the Broncos system.

How brekkie with Robinson and Keary inspired Sam Walker
It is not often that a 16-year-old footy player gets to sit down with a premiership-winning coach and a Clive Churchill Medal winner to talk about rugby league. But it is what Queensland Under 18 halfback Sam Walker got out of that experience that says as much about his character as it does...www.qrl.com.au
You’ve been hanging on?Time to move on from the ‘good old days’.
Hynes has definitely impressed me. I’d go after him, Reynolds / Moses / Johnson, and Brandon Smith. I’d then either have Staggs, Croft or a very cut price Milford at 6.
