The thing is, with some consistent games under his belt, i have confidence he would become a very solid player. His defence is far better than Milf or Dearden. I really am scratching my head at what Kevvie is doing.

Maybe he felt like if he dropped Croft too it wouldn't look like he was out to make a point against Dearden?
 
Love it , Croft on his bike aswell I hope. Respect our halves lol yeah you gotta earn Respect.
 
I hesitated to jump on the bandwagon of the 'Croft is going allright' after the Panther's game as i have always thought that he suffers from brain freeze when under pressure.

If he has time and space he functions - adequately. His defence is good when it's a one-on-one tackle to be made, but when he has to make a decision with a set play bearing down on him he invariably lets the guys next to him down by turning in too soon or racing out of the line when there was no need for it.

I've yet to see him seriously trail our forwards and make a break from their offloads. He is a brave little rooster but as i said he has trouble controlling his impulses when under pressure.

Our shitty halves in the same no. of games at least scored 62 points against Manly's elite pairing who could only muster a paltry 30 points.

The Bulldogs had 2 wins and Broncos only 1 win each in the same period.

With an experienced team and a premiership winning coach, and they play like mud without their star fullback.

Surely not the 1.3M halfback of that team...….PLEASSSEE NOOOOO!!!!!

I don't rate KW. To me he has been brought in as a Caretaker coach. Not the boards choice. They just bowed to pressure from fans and ex players to give him a go knowing he would fail. I support his chopping and changing halves combos as there is nothing else left to do.
He will spend his 2 years as coach seeing who fits into the Broncos culture. We will not make the 8 this year or next but we will have got rid of the shit. DD will then no doubt look at who is the best coach to move us fwd. Hopefully KW will remain in some capacity.

Dearden is gone, Milf is most likely gone barring a rapid and profound change in from.
Croft is the only one of them who is contracted beyond the end of the year.

How can he find consistency when he cant string together more than 3 games before getting dropped, all the while having his partner switched at the drop of a hat.

To be fair, out of those three, Croft has done the best for us over the past season.
He tries his guts out, doesnt go missing for the better part of a game and isn't a tiny ginger with no loyalty.
 
Don’t understand the issues with Kevvie’s half changes. This year is beyond a right off and it is quite clear we are going to market for at least a half, hopefully more spine positions. Why are we concerned about combinations with guys that won’t be here? We aren’t going to break into the top 8 if we give Dearden and Croft a month together.

Dearden and Croft aren’t our future so why invest more time into them? Use this time to try different halves to see if any are worth keeping even as depth and move on.

I thought Dearden was blonde haired. No matter, is 'tiny ginger' meant to be derogatory? If so why?

I would happily see the back of him and the argument of 'continuity' and 'combinations' will never stand true. He is not an NRL calibre player and after this deal expires he will be brick laying.
We need to see what else we have across the depth chart. Someone might surprise us instead of watching the same insipid displays each week and expecting a different result.

2nd most error prone half. Dearden is most error prone.
 
No halfback this week and an undeserving return for Milford? I’ll never give up on the Broncos but I can definitely start to give less of a shit about the shit decisions and players they name. I’m just about there I think

Ditto, its a shambles.

No consistency other than losing.
Kev seems to flip flop a lot on his decisions.

I like Kevvie, but i had strong doubts when he was named coach and that has not changed.
He is 99% heart, 1% brains.
