I’ve said it before, but I would love to keep Milford on a deal worth around $400-450 to partner Reynolds in the halves, I really think he would flourish, they would compliment each other really well, not too dissimilar to what Reynolds has at south’s with Walker.
We don’t need to go to market to replace Coates, so If we had $500k set aside to re-sign him presumably we would have the money to keep Milford on, even if it’s just on a 1 year deal as insurance for when Staggs at 6 shits the bed.
Sure he can stay for $400-$450 a season. But if we start talking thousands here that is a whole different ball game.

I like to see them play together for at least one season.......

If Milford's still stinking it up, I'll personally open the door for him and show him the way out.

That’s pretty much an all nsw forward pack.

Well the fullbacks and halves off contract according to zero tackle are below... I think given the role that a 6 would play next to Arey it might be a risk to put a relative rookie next to him.

Arey will need someone next to him to create the points... Arey is there to win field position and keep the pressure on, but someone else needs to finish it off.

Hynes
Johnson

Titans eyeing off Milford to replace Ash Taylor?

Replace an overpaid, underperforming half with an overpaid, underperforming half.

Sounds like the perfect fit!
Perhaps a swap then?

Have two players ever seen such monumental downgrades in their salaries at the same time?

I’d take ATay on a heavily reduced deal to partner ARey but just worry there isn’t any x-factor in that spine. AMil used to have some x-factor but that went awol years ago. Now we will see if Ktoe can fill the shoes of the club’s favourite feet from a decade ago, D-Lo. At least Ktoe likes the appeal of that.

Conflicted because i agree but want to slap you at the same time.

For those of you who think it's only the Broncos that get dumped on:

So Titans have given up on Ash Taylor if they are targeting Milf.

Titans are going all out to try and emulate the Roosters and buy a premiership. They keep this up and when AJ Brimson comes off contract they will struggle to find the funds to fend off the vultures.

If we get Hynes great, but I think we have the one key ingredient to move forward in Reynolds. If we get Hynes to play fullback I think we need to have Isaako in the centres partnering Herbie. With his step and acceleration he could really create alot of space for his outside man.

So if we get Hynes I would run with

1 - Hynes
2 - Oates
3 - Isaako
4 - Herbie
5 - Arthurs
6 - Staggs
7 - Reynolds
8 - Lodge
9 - Turpin
10 - Haas
11 - TPJ
12 - Riki
13 - Carrigan

14 - Flegler
15 - Piakura
16 - Bullemore
17 - up for grabs

Top 4 side right there
