If you are basing everything off how he went in origin a couple weeks back then I would say he received very little ball, which to me is a coaching thing.

Munster is clearly the focal point of our attack yet we stick a makeshift center outside him in Capewell, instead of one of our best attacking threats in Gagai, who has been playing left center all year. Instead Gagai is sitting on the right outside Kaufusi and DCE.

I'd be a little bit concerned about Gagai's age and it's likely he would want 3yr... but I think I would be comfortable with 2yrs to play left center and have Herbie outside him on the wing

I think it all comes down to money. He is languishing away in 2nd division and wants to return to Brisbane, so this should put his salary at MOST at 300k I would think and to me, that is really good value for a guy who at best is SOO standard and at worst is an excellent benchie.

2nd division should mean base signing salary. He hasn’t shown anything worth more than that

Well Glenn and TPJ would be straight swaps for Capewell Sua. Which is a pretty sizeable improvement. However it would suggest we don’t have much faith in Riki or Piakura to be ready any time soon, or there will be some players moving to the middle.

Agreed, if Riki moves to the middle (as I've seen some on here suggest), then a case could be made for Su'A.

The reported figures that we signed Riki and Piakura on would suggest we think they are both ready and capable to become first grade contributors.

If Su'A were of first grade standard then I think its a different story, but he's currently a reserve grade player - and we already have 2 talented young reserve grade second rowers on the books.. he's not filling a need in my opinion.

Gagai on a short, reasonably priced contract on the other hand would be a great idea.

Apparently he didn’t know what he was doing and there was some coercion and trickery involved. He’s also expressed being deeply ashamed and haunted by it for years.
