Right. What about the racist comments from the knights players?
Peptide Paul did it as well. So did the eighth immortal.

You'd seriously want to deal with Clive Palmer? They're basically a package deal now. Imagine he does post more controversial stuff on social media and the club needs to sack him. It would be a dragged out lawsuit with Clive Palmer posting TV ads during NRL games.
I personally think if we could get him on a 12 month contract to help get us sorted out it would be a good move. While in now way do i agree with what he said, the punishment doesnt fit the crime. We have had homophobic slurs and racist slurs from other players yet they havent got the kind of attention or punishment Izzy has for his. I think he deserves an opportunity to show he can tow the line.
Don’t entirely disagree but hasn’t he already been given that opportunity? Wasn’t the homophobic post the second one of that nature?
On Palmer, Kevvie would be familiar with Clive after his brother Kerrod ran for the Senate on his ticket. Clive will have burnt Kerrod. He burns everyone.Yeah, probably right about Clive but i doubt we will see him around Izzy for that much longer
His defense and fitness would be suspect. He was the best Rugby player in the world for a few years before the shitshow started, but Rugby is a holiday compared to the NRL. It's easy for decent backs to kill it in Rugby, but none return in the shape they left.I dunno how Folau would go, but age these days doesn't always mean anything. Brett Morris was killing it before his injury, Justin Hodges was still excellent in his last year. I think Folau would have picked up more skill playing fullback in Union, he could have more footy smarts than some of the current geniuses in the backs.
Checked out his wiki page, he’s had a few strikes.I honestly cant remember. I do remember one where he got filmed at his church basically saying the same thing. If we sign him then its going to piss a lot of people off because its the Broncos, and that suits me just fine!
Sorry dude there's heaps of hateful stuff in what he's done as a person with millions of 'followers'.On Palmer, Kevvie would be familiar with Clive after his brother Kerrod ran for the Senate on his ticket. Clive will have burnt Kerrod. He burns everyone.
As for Izzy, he never made "hateful" or "homophobic" comments. He listed a whole bunch of sins, of which homosexuality was only one (drunks, atheists, fornicators, etc), and warned that if you commit sins you go to Hell. This is 101 of Christianity and Islam is even stricter. The poor bastard was completely railroaded by the powerful gay lobby group over this.
The correct response to what Izzy posted would be "I don't even believe in Hell," and then move the **** on. Do we castigate Muslims for being judgemental? No, we let them have their thing, and we have our own. In fact, if you dare criticize Islam publically, it won't end well for you.
Izzy has a right to freedom of religious belief, and a right to proselytize. He's not hurting anyone. In his eyes, he's trying to save people. There's nothing "hateful" about anything he's done.
Of all the embarrassments this club has produced Lazarus’ politics are up there. On Palmer, Kevvie would be familiar with Clive after his brother Kerrod ran for the Senate on his ticket. Clive will have burnt Kerrod. He burns everyone.

Yeah right. He didn't get done for his beliefs, he got done for posting what is obviously controversial, then signed another contract promising to not do it again, then did it again, and went to court over it.On Palmer, Kevvie would be familiar with Clive after his brother Kerrod ran for the Senate on his ticket. I agree with that bit completely. As for the rest, seems he's not the only one who keeps a shitlist of sins for which he must repent or face eternal damnation in the fires of unforgiveness. He has a right to believe and preach whatever he wants and businesses have a right to not go near him.
Didn’t he refuse to sign that type of thing for Rugby Australia? Can't you just put him on a TPJ style media ban? If he breaks it, he's gone - put it explicitly in the contract and get it triple checked for validity by GOOD lawyers.
He would be a perfect playing solution to our 1 situation for a year or two while Cobbo develops. I also think him in Toeni would get on like a house on fire.
