It would be overkill, I agree. All I’m saying is that I remember Mal saying Titans will get at least one of the Broncos outside backs. Maybe his plans have changed.

I think that was either back end of last year or early this year.

They were rumoured to have targetted Coates, Staggs and Piakura.. I'd say they were mostly after Piakura or Coates.

Mal had mentioned wanting Niu last year, because he had come through GC schools... therefore making him a titans junior... although when PBC and Keebra Park are two of the best league schools in qld I'd imagine a fair few qld'rs from all over the state go through those schools.

Mal also mentioned that he was keen on Reece Walsh after claiming he was a titans junior even though I believe he's from Rocky and just went to school on the GC.

What do you think about Riki as a middle?

I believe he came through the grades as a second rower or middle forward, and in the current game I think his mobility and strength would be an asset in the middle.

I think as a second rower he looks a little limited and is probably just a line runner.

Not something i had thought about tbh, but it would be worth a try with i reckon. We have nothing to play for so a bit of experimentation could work wonders.

I agree with all of that mate, and to be honest he was just a prime example, I think we need a player of his ilk and skill set to fill either fullback or 5/8th if we are to markedly improve next year. It is too much to expect Reynolds to do it himself.
 
Would Su'a be coming here as a prop if we are still after him? Obviously I wouldn't bother but if Woods and him both want to come for cheap and play prop I know who I'd prefer

I think he has a lot to offer as a bench forward. It suits his game perfectly.
 
The decrepit ***** in the media didn't take long to link us with Vaughn. The club had to come out and make it clear we were not interested less than 24 hours after his Merge contract got the shredder treatment.
