We let Arrow go simply because we couldn't afford to keep him at the time. If we had the money, he would still be here
He was probably missing his dogs.Just on Jai Arrow he has potentially breached covid protocol and is being investigated by the integrity unity. And will miss state of origin game 3 with Thomas Flegler making his debut for QLD.
I'm finding it difficult to see QLD averting the sweep.......

I don't think he's been great at all. I agree he doesnt need to be a star but there are better around than ArtharsHe’s done a decent job & I think he’s shown improvement this year. He also covers fb, wing & centre. Every player in your roster can’t be a star, he’s a good depth signing.
Do we need a prop at all? Am I the only one thinking we're better off just trying to make Flegler a week-to-week player, Carrigan comes back into the rotation next year and spend that money on a 5/8, centre or winger?
I don't see the value in buying a prop with our current roster and cap position.
I agree with you but Marty doesn’t have to be a starter… if he comes cheap enough, that’s a really good piece to our side that far outways getting your additional Riki, Piakura, Palasia, Hetho, bully and Kennedy on the bench… it can on be 2 possibly 3 if we go hetho as cover for hooker in addition to Marty. In saying that Marty is not essential but at the moment the best 2 options are him and James if we are going after another middleDo we need a prop at all? No to Niko. Oh dear does that mean a spot is being kept for Billy ? Or will WB convince Kevin to hang on to Milf. Shame cos Niko has a footy brain and would be dynamite with AR.some more "news" from Badel:
- we've been offered the services of number of Props since Lodges release (namely: James, Woods and Taupau)
- says we've been offered Taupau a number of times over the last few months but would struggle to afford him (currently on 800k a season)
- Nikorima won't be coming back to the club. Ikin has no interest in tabling him an offer. says he is happy with our halves/utility stocks for next season
I love that side but I just can’t see the club not playing Carrigan at 13. There’s almost 2 things that are inevitable Staggs at 6 and Carrigan at 13. I disagree he should but he will. In that case I think there are better middles than hetheringtin bench wise so we would either be looking at him utility or possibly missing out all together. It’s a tough but good problem but 2 of our better performers were palasia and Bullemor on the weekend and they don’t make the cut. Will be interesting to see what the bench is made up of next yearwe have a good core forming now ... optimistic about a finals return in 2022.

There fucken stupid if they think we will take anymore than 400-450k of that, IF there lucky.is taupau any good still? I haven’t watched a manly game in ages. 800k is too much even in his prime though.
He's going ok. No where near 800k ok though. He's solid and reliable with the odd power shot. He'd be great on 400k.is taupau any good still? I haven’t watched a manly game in ages. 800k is too much even in his prime though.
Staggs is obviously playing 6. Tesi has 1 locked down. And 9 our best option seems to be taking a huge gamble (not referring to Tyson) or sticking with turpsI personally think we need a lock forward so if we can get Finucane/ Watson then yeh i agree Carrigan should go to Prop and we will be good.
But if we don't get a lock looks like carrigan might remain there which i am not a fan off.
We definitely need either a 1,6,9 but seems like we are going quiet on Spine players so not sure whats happening
Marty is still a beast and I've always been a fan but given he's 32 next year I wouldn't want to sign him for longer than a year and no more than 400k.is taupau any good still? I haven’t watched a manly game in ages. 800k is too much even in his prime though.
