Does anyone think if we sign Gagai, he could fill in at fullback for a year or two while Cobbo or someone else develops?

Another option is Staggs at 1 instead of 6.. Thoughts?

I am not sure why he hasn't been given more time off the bench. He could also do a better job in the halves than croft.

Croft and Isaako should go the way of lodge, TPJ and milford. They represent no value moving forward. We should then lock down Paix. He can play a role in halves and hooker moving forward but 14 portion the first place to start.

Glenn can stay until the end of the year but he is in the same boat as croft milford and isaako. We can't win while Croft and Isaako are in the team. David Mead should have been on the wing the whole time.

Strange, I could have sworn we recently beat Cronulla, a top eight team with Croft and Isaako in the team. Must be an alternate reality.

I'd imagine Melbourne would like that too. Seems odd that there seemingly hasn't been any effort to facilitate this so far. You'd have to imagine both players are on bugger all salary wise so it's unlikely the Cap constraints might be the issue.

Lee might want to stay there for the rest of the season and try and win a comp with Melbourne.
When he comes here it might be a while before he gets another chance.

That is true. We did. I just don't see it happening again. Our odds improve much more without them.

We lost to the dragons and tigers due to multiple errors from Isaako who regularly kicks the ball out on the full from kick offs and makes multiple unforced errors. He is the king of the dumb play. Croft shooting out of the line in defence and offering nothing in attack is more than a bad game here or there.

If your happy to win the odd game here and there against a depleted team then hey you can have your cronulla win.

The only counter argument may be that having all the guys start at once this off season will be good for team culture - a fresh start

He really isnt. Scores tries for fun in the ISC, yet cant seem to settle down at one club. Had a shot at the Storm ( and you think the Storm would have been able to get something out of such a potent try scorer ), us and was it the Cowboys? ( 1 1910 can you help there? ) and still nobody wants him. There has to be a very good reason.

Dobbo reporting that Coates is out of favour (Issako and Oates will be there next yr) so we might not see Coates play for the remainder of the yr.

Also said TPJ to Panthers ( but looks like thats not happening), Milford to Eels

Brad Arthurs has already ruled out Anthony Milford coming to the Eels.

Not to bang this drum again but just like it not being Boyd’s fault that Seibold kept picking him, it’s not Isaako’s fault that Kev still lets him kick off.

He has to take accountability for his performance but I agree the decision to keep picking him is worse.

I can't believe we picked him after he was dropped after the Dragons game and again this week. Mead on the wing is a much better option.

Isaako has shown over multiple seasons that he can't remove the stupid errors from his game. Basic schoolboy stuff he fails regularly. He is like milford in that he can do the flashy athletic stuff from time to time but he cant regularly nail the basics without multiple unforced errors.

He reminds me of Gela-Mosby where he has the attributes to be an NRL player but he just doesn't think like a footy player.

Fair enough, but I haven’t heard anything bad about his attitude. I don’t like to speculate too much unless there’s proof. Cody Walker and Jamal Fogarty were similar rough diamonds. Sometimes they just need a bit of care and a polish. For some positions in the squad I wouldn’t mind taking a punt on someone with huge potential rather than settling for someone like Copley or Mead.
