Pass on Napa, don't think he provides us anything we don't already have, plus not like he's a consummate pro that can mentor youngsters (apart from sex tapes, Staggs could've done with that info).

What do you guys think of Tepai Moeroa? He's with storm at the moment and is unsigned for next season. Is still only 25 he seemed good and aggressive for Eels back in the day. My only concern is if he's a penalty/suspension magnet

Didn't he leave initially to try and make the olympics for shot put or something along those lines?

I thought he went to the Waratahs. Used to be an Australian Schoolboy rep I think. Had huge wraps on him but never kicked on in the NRL at the Eels..

If they were all the same price Napa would probably be the last of the 3 I’d take. Massive liability and pretty low footy IQ. I think he’s about to be suspended yet again for another high shot over the weekend. I also don’t see him doing much for team culture.

Woods especially would be able to provide a huge amount of knowledge the young forwards in the team. Napa not so much.

I'd steer clear of Napa, totally agree. I think he can be a very good prop tbh, but the caveat to that it he has to play like a total lunatic, and in the modern game, he would be spending 70 percent of the year suspended. He has only ever been effective when he plays like a loose canon.

We need someone that can take it to the opposition in the heat of battle. Napa knows how to turn the turbo boosters on to inspire a win. We just need to get him back to form. I think it's all a mental welfare thing for him.. Just get him happy and smiling and glad to be playing footy for the Broncos... And he may fire. If not, not the end of the world.. Because he will be one of our cheapest forwards. A 2 year deal would not hurt.

He's inspired the Bulldogs to many, many great wins with his turbo boosters........... Oh wait, he hasnt.

I've been pretty vocal about getting Napa if he is cheap (this is the key point) and I stick to it. I'd also love to get Lui and would be really happy to get both to be honest.

I can absolutely see the concerns with Napa and to be honest, wouldn't be too sad if we missed out on him but he would be an excellent foil for Haas. He'd be coming to the club to not be the main man. You could just tell him to go out make runs, make tackles and nothing more. The first brain snap he has, he's back to ressies. I also wouldn't be signing him for long, 1 or 2 years at most. If he wants longer, you walk away. In fact, I'd make that second year a club option only. If he is willing to agree to these terms, he may well be worth pursuing. If he isn't, see ya later.

That's why he's coming cheap. He inspired the Roosters a lot.

Yeah I'd much rather Napa & Lui over Woods & James

Based on what? Which high school they went too?
Nope. I've never really rated Woods or James and have always liked Napa and Lui.

Personal preference. No need to say whether I'm right or wrong.

Napa is a better player than what he is showing at the Bulldogs we all know that much, maybe the big payday was something that stifled his motivation?

Like all decent players he will get a contract somewhere as there are plenty of desperate clubs out there

He really didnt. I think they got more inspiration from Minnichielo, RTS, Pearce, SBW,Maloney Friend etc than Napa. Its easy to inspire with quality around ( and again, he wasnt really an inspirational player ).

On top of that, the game has passed him by. He is a very, very poor mans version of Adrian Morley. His main attribute was always playing like a lunatic. Thats been taken away. Plenty more options who would offer more than Napa on low contracts.

I disagree. Would be a good signing in my opinion.. And maybe Kev's opinion too?

Kev would know if he's a good player or not, so I'll back his judgement on this one
