I watched him in the intrust cup televised game about 3 weeks ago he carved them up and his defence looked pretty good ...thought he would have a development offer by now ...if we dont someone will

if he plays for Redcliffe, he may already be contracted to the Warriors

As a long time watcher of the Phins, he is a player i like, but i think physically he isnt up to playing NRL. I cant see anyone in an NRL club taking a risk on him tbh. As i mentioned before, he's a good ISC player who i dont believe has what it takes to step up another level.

I'd give him to Melbourne for the same reason.
i'd give our whole team to melbourne to make sure penrith don't win

i guess that sounds counterintuitive for most of em but perhaps they could run basic errands e.g. isaako could sweetly kick trash out of the storm's way as they go for a walk around the block

Panthers have been arrogant for like a year and a half.
Melbourne have been fucking Brisbane over in all sorts of ways since 2007 (and also have been arrogant since then).

Hmm, go Melbourne?

No the Storm players are way more respectable as a unit and as individuals. So many top notch and humble blokes in that side. You got the odd arrogant bloke like Addo and munster but they are good characters and have reason to be. Players like Luai who have obviously been carried by Cleary and made to look good have no right to be arrogant. There not very good blokes either

We should totally do it. Say no to Melbourne and give him to one of their big rivals.
Except that would make one of their rivals weaker with him being on the wing... or ahhh not staying on his wing 🤔🤔🤔

I’d give Coates to Penrith for free if it meant they were a better chance of beating Melbourne.
Nah **** Penrith... NSWRL have bet the house on them.

In fact the top 8 is like all Shitney except Melbourne

Actually I may not watch any of the finals this year... no supercoach to keep me even remotely interested

Whitchurch was great fit Redcliffe, he's retired now but his last few years were quality, almost looked like the NRL player we'd hoped for. But he had a great ISC career.

Carlin is going great, still a shame he never kicked on but he's playing good footy.

Fuller would be a great fullback or utility in the 6 again era, fast, illusive and would draw tonnes of penalties. He is on the smaller side though, think that's one of the main reasons no one's picked him up. Puts his body into every thing 100% though.

My one enduring memory of Whitchurch was the 2012 QCup Grand Final. He was having a great season at the Dolphins and seemed ready made for the Broncos bench moving forward.

He had an absolutely dreadful game and then it turned out he had severe back injuries that ruled him out for the majority of 2013 and he was just never the same player again.

It's a real shame as well because you'd watch him play QCup and there were parts of his game that were a cut above the rest but he just couldn't put it altogether to make a career out of the NRL.

Just remember that everyone thought Thurston was too small.

Thurston was too small. Look at the photos and video, he was tiny.

It is however a lesson in not throwing your season on 18 year old halves and letting them develop and have time to do so
