They could have done a real piece and looked at the staff over the years, Broncos have had lots of Dolphins staff- Griffin, Corvo, Bunn, Parle, Guilfoyle, Hinchey- like I said it works both ways in SEQ.

They could have done a piece about the Broncos promoting staff from lowly Q Cup teams? Who’d read that? Can’t have a good guy Broncos article.

Broncos were the ones who cut ties with Redcliffe during Covid. It wasnt Redcliffe getting the shits with the Broncos. Brisbane dropped all the feeder clubs. Redcliffe just got an offer from the Warriors and didnt hang around to see what Brisbane wanted to do.

END OF AN ERA: DOLPHINS MOVE ON FROM BRONCOS

The Broncos’ near 20-year alliance with powerhouse club Redcliffe has come to an end, after the Dolphins on Monday announced a new affiliation with the New Zealand Warriors.

As Redcliffe gear up to launch their own bid for an NRL team, they have revealed plans to join forces with the Warriors for three years from 2021.

The move comes after Brisbane ended all of their feeder club agreements in March, including those with the Norths Devils, Souths Logan Magpies and Wynnum Manly Seagulls.

It is understood the Broncos made the decision to cut ties while they wait to see how COVID-19 will affect club rosters and the competition’s salary cap, with these structures currently under review by the NRL.

Brisbane are expected to make a final decision on their futures with affiliate clubs by August.

By the way Reddy broke ties with Brisbane and joined the Warriors as I understand it.

I still think they have affilitations with those 3, they just kind of paused them during Covid until the finances were sorted. Redcliffe was kind of a mutual thing. It got put to one side during Covid, and i think Redcliffe just took a guaranteed offer.

I dont think he will survive this loss. I dont think he is as poor a coach as he is showing tbh. Their recruitment strategy has been dogshit, but he is the coach at the end of the day and had to take the blame.

Brent Read reckons the Broncos will poach Reece Walsh, starting next season. Announcement this week.

Note this is a "set to" not a done deal.
