He is potentially a great pick up. There is the spectre of some past baggage which was never really confirmed or denied that would need to be resolved though.

Considering the present day options at the club, he has got a legitimate shot at the position.

Yeah that was obvious, he often looked gassed even only being out there for a short stint but in saying that was he given the game time to go up a level. I do believe his motor was shocking last year, it had improved in 21 but obviously not enough.

So he seems to be more focused on tackle technique rather than defensive structures (or he may also do that, just not clear from the above).

Could he be more like a replacement for Peter Ryan??

I think Ryan was sort of the technique specialist but only part time/ consultancy.... O'Farrell may be more full time or has a dedicated 1 day a week on specialist training... I think storm dedicate 1-2 days per week on wrestling and technique
 
Its michael chammas we sure he has the right sport?
