I am so done with juniors, what is the point in developing them when there is no reward and in fact guys like this little **** are what you get.
Agree with this. Its not like he is a 7 year old. People are always too quick to excuse players because of their age. He's 18, he knows right from wrong, he knows how you go about doing things, and just like grubby Payne, you dont go about it by trying to throw your weight around and have a toddler tantrum to get what you want.
If he doesnt want to be here anymore, fine, talk to the club in a civil manner and come to an arrangement if possible. The way he has carried on the NRL should step in and make him honor his contract.
Surely it was clear that he and everyone else was meaning before it got to this point. They are saying they will release him because after months of this bullshit and the NRL doing sweet **** allThe NRL don’t have to step in. Broncos decide, if they release him that’s their call.
You can’t have the Broncos wanting him gone and happy with $500k and NRL saying he stays.

It is beyond untenable so there is no other real option.
The NRL should adequately govern agents conduct instead of deciding it’s all too hard. There is- go play for Norths for three years.
Joe and Adamson have asked for releases since June and Broncos have refused. NRL have backed them up.
Riolo needs to step in and pull Adamson into line.
As was said previously, i was talking about before it got to the releasing him stage. The NRL imo have to work on a better way of dealing with this sort of thing with players and their managers. There is no consequence for their actions. The NRL don’t have to step in. Broncos decide, if they release him that’s their call.

How did the NRL back us? By not saying we have to release him? That’s not really backing us. A competent administration would sanction the agent and the player or at the very least release a fucking statement saying the don’t agree. There is- go play for Norths for three years.

Is that true they won’t release him to the Dolphins? That is fucking beautiful. Between this and the Warriors saying anywhere but the Dolphins with Walsh Bennett and that shit stain O’Sullivan are burning many a bridge. As was said previously, i was talking about before it got to the releasing him stage. Apparently, they wont release him to the Dolphins though. What if thats where he wants to be. Then we are back to square one.
Travis Meyn says Karl's transfer fee is $500k, and they're blocking the Dolphins. He's currently training with the Devils.

Which the nrl, and everyone else, knows happens and they still refuse to do anything about it. Too hard basket.Problem is these Management companies employ unaccredited “managers” to handle players then it’s not their name that goes on the deal. They handle the player until a deal is done and then Riolo steps in.

Seems more like belligerence. Or an opening offer. Another club might say: "instead of 500k, how about we give you Harry Grant plus Cameron Munster and we'll let you win the next three games?"Yay. Of what benefit is that to us? It doesn’t go on the salary cap and we aren’t in want of money outside that.
It absolutely should be included on the cap and is yet another thing the nrl have allowed to sneak into the game through their inaction. It started with all these pommy player transfers. Not all clubs are created equal, which is why the cap exists. Why should a rich club be able to spend 500k outside the cap to sign a player over a poorer club who don’t have $500k to spend on a player transfer. The "transfer fee" should be part of the cap. It could obviously get really messy, but you already have some clubs paying a portion of another club's player (ie, when released early and the other club won't pay the full contract), why can't you request a portion of the club's expenditure?
"We had this guy pencilled in as a long term half. For us to recruit someone of similar calibre at a similar stage of their career will likely cost us an additional $250k on the cap, per year for 2-3 years. Are you willing to compensate us that amount in exchange for us to release the player to you"?
Well I guess what is your definition of the NRL "backing us up". Have you ever watched deliverance? How did the NRL back us? By not saying we have to release him? That’s not really backing us. A competent administration would sanction the agent and the player or at the very least release a fucking statement saying the don’t agree.
The NRL is run by incompetent cowards who don’t give a shit about the game and just want to do **** all and hold on to their high paid jobs until they are eventually turfed after years of bullshit.
