Ben hunt is a great player and he would undoubtedly take us to another level personel-wise
.... however we are currently top of the table and drama-free. Will he change the structure of our team and bring drama? I think the answers are yes..

I'm a big Paix fan but if we do lose him, he'll be replaced in the 14 jersey by Mozer and that is what will likely happen anyway at some point. Billy still probably has a couple of seasons in him, so it isn't the end of the world if it happens. Of course, I'd love to keep Paix but if it resulted in a short term Hunt at 9 or 14 cameo and then a long term Mozer into that rotation from round 1 next year, so be it.

That was the one that really ticked me off. A massive corrosive influence on us and then almost gets a premiership if not for injury as a 'consequence'. It is one of the many reasons this mid-season shift is just an awful rule. But if the rule is there, regardless of how stupid it is and how much I hate it, if we can benefit from it, we should.

i can't see Hunt needing to sign a short-term deal to get him to '24. TPJ had to do it because he'd signed with the Dogs and Broncos released him and saved themselves 100k on the cap for '22. Broncos didn't care what he did from August.

I can't see Dragons releasing him with a slap on the arse.

The more I think about it, the more I don’t want him here. He’s not good in the clutch (that one origin moment was a fluke until proven otherwise) and he’d be trying to over all Reyno at every chance. And I’ll stick with Reyno, the guy that won the premiership thanks.

Bennett hundred percent would be interested. Hunt would be a fantastic role model for Katoa. They've been screaming out for a marquee, Hunt is very much a marquee.
