I wouldn't mind it for this year and next. As long as he was happy to play Hooker and only be a back up 6/7 in the event of any suspension or injuries to Reynolds and Maam.

He is a very good hooker, significantly better than Billy, and also offers a very good backup option for Reynolds / Maam which we don't currently have.

If we could get Ben Hunt for 2 years at the expense of say, Katoni Staggs & Jock Madden / Paix then I think it is a worthy deal.

Huge signing. Gives us the best spine in the comp, on paper, by a long way. I think playing him off the bench is the way to go for the time being with the aim of him playing 60+ mins at 9 come the finals.

If it is true, then I think you can just play him exactly like Qld do.

Start at 9 plays 30mins or so, Billy comes on to finish the game and then Bhunt can come back on as a lock through the middle... or just comes back on as a 9.

Imagine finishing the game with a middle of Haas and Patty at prop and Bhunt at 13 being a link man if you need points... or you have him finish at 9 with Haas, Patty and Flegler if you just want the big boys rolling through the middle.

Hunt is a better attacking player than William .
William is a good defender .

William starts - Hunt after 20 in each half .
