Absolutely agree. It would be like the Brandon Smith signing. He has massive question marks around him now because he has absolutely imploded at the Dogs. Is it the terrible system at the Dogs that is the issue though or is it him?

Think he had the flu or something, so I guess Ciraldo reduced his load to tackle bot in the middle of the field... but he probably shouldn't have played him at all.

Ciraldo is probably desperate to replicate the panthers system he came from as well... so he might've been tinkering around and thinking if he can use a double hooker rotation by having Reed as a link man in the middle for stints... but I wasn't really paying attention to this game. It was on in the background and I looked up whenever panthers strolled in for another try.

It's worth noting that the Dogs are that weak in the forwards their NSW Cup side was relying on Ron Massey and SG Ball players to field a team. Mahoney supposedly insisted that he'd play despite being unwell and Flanagan has been something of a revelation at 9 in NSW Cup.

He currently is a #6 not a #7 ...
He is thriving because Chadwick runs the team . Dearden can show and go all he likes as a running #6 . Hasn`t got a long kick like the good #7s .

I like his competitiveness but he is not a replacement for Captn Coach Reynolds at this stage .
