Also just read in the Tele that Madge has said Kotoni will NOT be going anywhere as he sees him as a key part of Brisbane's premiership goal. Coates hasn’t been signed he’s always been at the Broncos in the academy. He played Meninga for Bears this year and had a great year. He’s been moved to a development deal with Inness.

He will be playing centre for Burleigh in the Qld Cup next year. Broncos see him as part of their future in the NRL. Supposedly a very good player.

The names being thrown around for this GM role shows there arent enough people within league that can actually do the role.

If the names are being thrown up in Fox affiliated media then they're literally just throwing out names as jobs for the boys

The club has put the process of filling the new Head of Football role in the hands of a recruitment agency.

I didn't say you were, the typical approach that we've been doing is to ease young guys into Qcup so what you say seems likely... I haven't seen where the news story is coming from, but a young guy getting hyped up is most likely just manager pushing for a payday, which was all my comment was about.

If he wasn’t Xavier's brother no one would even be reading it to be honest. That’s the lead.

I don’t know heaps about Tate but I think he on a spectrum of Parker to Ikin, he’s more toward the Ikin side

That push has come from a comment from Scott Sattler ... not really sure what Badel was doing interviewing him about our GM role, but whatever.

“’Tatey’ should be Brisbane’s head of football,” he said.

“He has worked in the private sector outside of rugby league and has developed a great skill set.

“Aside from knowing football, he succeeded at all levels as a player, he is a proven winner and he has the strength of character to be a great head of football for ‘Madge’ (Maguire).

“I hope the Broncos consider him.”

Does Scotty Satrler get paid per comment I wonder!? He always seems to bob up as the 'random quote bloke'. Him and Matt Rogers. Love the Sattler family but by christ young Scott really knows how to jibber.
