Leadership and another old head around the place.
A guy that can fill Mams void for how ever long he's gone for.
Reynolds cover and someone who can hold a place til Blacks ready.
Australia and origin 14.

Ticks a few boxes and what a story it would be for him to come back and get a premiership.
Money will be the big factor in this happening and what the NRL allows to happen.
I'm sure Hunt wouldn't be chasing a pay day at 34 years old otherwise his preference would be England not Brisbane.
 
I still can't see how we can fit Ben Hunt AND Sam Walker under the cap. We might have to let Billy Walters go.

He's trolling but he's being too obvious about it these days.

Ben Hunt doesn't even make sense for us. We'd love as many rep players as we can get but he's not going to sign on as a hooker, where else do you play him?

He can play 6 for half the season, and the other half of the season that Reynolds is injured he will play 7.
 
Mam suspended for 12 months with Hunt stepping in to fill the void would be an ok compromise.

We would need to see how we go with salary cap relief for the Mam contract though.

The salary cap relief is exactly what I think is being discussed with the NRL as we speak, and is critical to whether we'll be able to offer him a suitable contract.
 
How can anybody possibly be talking to anybody about salary cap relief. Mam has not even been banned as of yet. I'd suggest Hunt will find a suitor well before we sort this shit out with Ezra Milford
